Covid and Jobs
Most people don't see is the fact that the base rate on most technical jobs haven't increased in 40 years. Many engineering jobs pay $45/hr as they did 35 years ago. Today with adjusted inflation that same pay is $90/hr, with higher medical insurance, housing, and everything. An SUV car 30 years ago was $25K and today they are over $50K. Millions are becoming aware of their jobs haven't received raises in 30+ years. Millions of workers are quitting to start their own home business's due to faster computers, and offsite employment. People are pissed with the fact that when Trump gave $3 trillion to the largest corporations to supposedly give their workers raises, instead the majority of corporations gave their CEO's billions in raises, and many bought back their stocks, not givng people any despearately needed COLA. We need to have an amendment to mandate a 5% or Cost of Living allowance for all corporations and business's. The minimum wage is only $8.00 /...
