Medicine Tomorrow

   You will get Covid-19 by not wearing mask, and getting sick and dying or having long-term health issues.  This is an extremely infectious disesase, if Vietnam, Korea, and China can beat so can we.  We need to change our attitudes about medicine, and remember diseases of our past. Our attitude about how we interact and respect each other. People have changed much since the 1918-1920 Pandemic when after less than a year, politicians wanted to reopen all business and schools. The difference this time is that we have multiple vaccines avaialble. This vaccine should be perceived the same as getting a Polio Vaccine, which ravaged the world a century ago. There are other vaccines such as for the mumps, chicken pox, and german measles that all children and adults should get today.  Georgia Partying Hardy on Campus, The universities and youth of Georgia were having a block party like many youth in college on the weekends. But, there is a great pandemic going on! Do you have children, Do you let them play in the streets? That is the stance you must take with Covid-19. A mask mandate is essential unless you think killing off Georgia voters is your intent. People don't have commonsense. This is a real pandemic and you must mandate masks and PPE. If someone has bubonic plagus or measles, or the mumps they are not allowed at school. Covid-19 is deadly than measles or mumps. Mandating masks with fines is a message to the people that this pandemic is deadly. Asymptomatic people make this situation even worse, with people spreading the virus without knowing they are doing so.      I know there are too many people at the deparment stores and in public not wearing masks. America is illustrated by riots at Walmarts asking people to protect themselves with masks. Invest in $100 billion at least a year in federal funds, and not property taxes, but general funds to rebuild our educational system. If you noticed, due to the lack of air pollution around the planet the weather is changing. The population of bees has dramatically increased due to cleaner air. But, the sun is entering a phase of Solar minimum which means more severe storms and temperature extremes on this planet.
